I will Eat Marijuana, Drink it and smoke it. – Morgan Freeman

Morgan Freeman

The Oscar-winning legend credits cannabis with reducing his fibromyalgia pain and wants to see it legalized across the board. It’s impossible to hear Morgan Freeman’s voice and not be seduced into a trance-like state. After all, the authoritative Oscar-winning legend has guided people through alien invasions, the icy plains of Antarctica, and even down perilous streets in foreign destinations (thanks, GPS feature). One thing most people don’t associate the actor with, however, is cannabis. That all changed in a 2015 interview with The Daily Beast. Prepared to discuss his new film 5 Flights Up, Freeman instead opened up about his long-time use ofmarijuana and why he thinks it should be legalized everywhere.advertisementEight years ago, Freeman was driving across Mississippi when he was involved in an accident. His 1997 Nissan Maxima skidded off the highway and flipped several times. While he survived thanks to knowledgable medics and the Jaws of Life, his left shoulder, arm and elbow were shattered. Doctors operated for four hours to repair the nerves, but he still hasn’t reigned the full use of his left hand. To cope with the pain, Freeman turned to marijuana. When pressed for information about his opinion on the use of the herb, Freeman stated:
“They used to say, ‘You smoke that stuff, boy, you get hooked! My first wife got me into it many years ago. How do I take it? However it comes! I’ll eat it, drink it, smoke it, snort it! This movement is really a long time coming, and it’s getting legs—longer legs. Now, the thrust is understanding that alcohol has no real medicinal use. Maybe if you have one drink it’ll quiet you down, but two or three and you’re fucked.”advertisementReferring to the accident he survived, he pointed to the glove-aid sticking out of his left suit sleeve and stated:“Marijuana has many useful uses. I have fibromyalgia pain in this arm, and the only thing that offers any relief is marijuana. They’re talking about kids who have grand mal seizures, and they’ve discovered that marijuana eases that down to where these children can have a life. That right there, to me, says, ‘Legalize it across the board!’”The last time Freeman mentioned marijuana was in a 2003 interview with The Guardian. He can be remembered stating “Never give up the ganja.” His attitude in The Daily Beast interview was the same.“And what negative effects does it have?” Freeman continued.
“Look at Woodstock 1969. They said, ‘We’re not going to bother them or say anything about smoking marijuana,’ and not one problem or fight. Then look at what happened in ’99.”advertisementThe 79-year-old narrator was referencing the event in which fewer individuals used marijuana. In effect, a number of riots and arrests took place. In the video below, activists with The Young Turks discuss Freeman’s progressive stance on the use of the substance:

Not everyone is meant to love you.

JB poems

Not everyone is meant to love you.
Some will hate you in return for the love you have shown to them.
Not everyone is meant to love you.
Some of them will disappoint you after giving them all your trust.
Not everyone is meant to love you.
Some of them will take your love for granted and treat you anyhow they wish.
Not everyone is meant to love you.
Some of them will wear mask pretending they love you but within their hearts it’s the opposite.
Not everyone is meant to love you.
Some of them will always be using your weakness against you, in order for you to become their slaves always controlling you, how it pleases them.
Not everyone is meant to love love.
Some are only with you because of the benefits they receive from you.
Not everyone is meant to love you.
So never expect so much from people.

Algeria has been crowned 2019 African champions after one goal win over Senegal.

Algeria has been crowned Africa Cup of Nations champion for only the second time in its history, edging past Senegal thanks to Baghdad Bounedjah’s early deflected goal. After going behind, Senegal dominated for the remainder of the match but was unable to find an equalizing goal.

However, after being advised by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) to review the decision on the pitch side monitor, Alioum overturned his original decision.
It was yet more heartbreak for Senegal, which is still yet to win the greatest prize in African football.

Kumi Guitar, a highlife artist who happens to be a former signee of zylophon music urges each and every media house to appologise to his former boss Nana Appiah Mensah the CEO of Menzgold, popularly known as NAM1.

Kumi Guitar

In his speech, he said that when Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1) was arrested in Dubai the Public and the Media Houses took that opportunity and made false news about him. And some even said he’s a fraud and so on.
Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1)

Furthermore, he said that now that NAM1 has been justified by the Dubai court and had now return to the Country, he urges the Media to appologise to him for making false news about him.

He said,
“When NAM1 was arrested in Dubai, many people on social media and Media Houses wrote negative and untrue stuff about him. People called him a fraud person and other damning names. Now that he’s back from Dubai and currently in Ghana, and the truth is out, Media Houses & Anybody who wrote negative & untrue stuff about NAM1 when he was in Dubai should do the honorable thing and apologise to him”

YOUR CURRENT SITUATION, NOT YOUR FINAL DESTINATION.

  • I was born on Friday so I was called “Kofi”, my father later gave me the name “Rexford Darko” because I was his son. Because of how I used to do things while I was young, they later gave me another name “kofi teygey”.
  • There was a time a friend of mine also gave me another name “since morning” and this name came about when one day I used my money to buy hook and line to go fishing but very unfortunately I got nothing, so they teased me by giving me this name. Because of how I used to walk as I was growing, some friends also gave me the name “50 cent” as my gangster name.
  • I also got the the name “Reebok”, when my father first bought me a “Reebok shoe’. I choosed the name “bra kofi” as a strategy to seek more attention on Facebook when I first created my account. Fortunately, this stategy worked out for me because I got the hype that I was looking for on the social media.
  • Above all, what I have learned out of this is that sometimes in life some people judge us on how we do our things, some also do on the circumstances they find us. Sometimes we think our current circumstances defines who we really are, but it later turn’s to be the opposite when we start moving from one stage to the other. Our current circumstances will only become our final destination only when there is no way forward.
